Specifically, the Managing/Senior Managing Consultant (consultant), as a member of the Banking Operational Excellence, Financial Services team, will participate on and lead teams implementing business, process or technology change in our Financial Services client organizations. As a consultant on this team, you will develop business requirements, reengineer business processes, streamline operations and/or facilitate the evaluation, selection, and implementation of supporting systems. The consultant will work within the back office in Retail and Commercial Banking areas. The consultant will also manage and improve performance of client servicing, core banking applications and processes, transaction processing and other core business process projects. This role may take either a strategic or tactical view of a company's total business. They work proactively with clients to refine their current business strategy or develop a new strategy in line with competitive and market forces. They also identify strategic capabilities needed to create and sustain one or more sources of competitive advantage. These capabilities may come in the form of process, information technology, organization enablement, or knowledge. They identify best practices and client performance gaps, if any. They use tools to identify, align, and change the factors that affect performance, stability, and teaming and develop comprehensive transformation recommendations. This position requires travel 4-5 days per week. It is also expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC. Quality Requirements:
Required:
    *High School Diploma/GED *At least 3 years experience in consulting or working as a Business Analyst on medium- to large-scale systems implementations, process reengineering, or other project-oriented work *At least 3 years experience in working within Back Office in Retail Banking *At least 3 years experience in managing and improving performance of core banking functions and customer interaction, back office cost savings projects, and other core business process projects *At least 3 years experience in business process in a top 100 U.S.-based Retail Bank *At least 3 years experience in banking products including demand deposits, time deposits, consumer lending, or payments systems *Readiness to travel up to 75%; travelling 5 days a week, home on weekends *English: Fluent
Preferred:
    *Master's Degree *At least 5 years experience in consulting or working as a Business Analyst on medium- to large-scale systems implementations, process reengineering, or other project-oriented work *At least 5 years experience in working within Back Office in Retail Banking *At least 4 years experience in managing and improving performance of core banking functions and customer interaction, back office cost savings projects, and other core business process projects *At least 5 years experience in business process in a top 100 U.S.-based Retail Bank *At least 5 years experience in banking products including demand deposits, time deposits, consumer lending, or payments systems
