Kleberg Bank: Improving Decisions, Growing More Profitably
Kleberg First National Bank believes investing in the best technology and the best talent is its top strategy for delivering superior, consistent service to customers. Yet, like many banks, Kleberg was using a cumbersome combination of Microsoft Excel and other software applications to run rudimentary reporting and analysis. Reconciling information from different data systems and applications was difficult, resulting in disintegrated, aesthetically displeasing, static reports that were rigid, incomplete or inaccurate. Consequently, bank staff spent an excessive amount of time manually compiling and disseminating basic banking information – time that could have been spent on higher-value, customer- or employee-centric endeavors.
Kleberg realized it needed an easier, automated, accurate method to pull secure, integrated data that could be quickly understood and leveraged by anyone in the bank. By integrating a pre-built, interactive, banking business intelligence (BI) application from SwiftKnowledge with its Jack Henry SilverLake System® and Vertex Teller™ Capture system, Kleberg now has empowered all employees to access and analyze up-to-date information on their own, thereby reducing the time and effort spent manually preparing reports.
According to Brad Womack, vice president and controller for Kleberg Bank, “SwiftKnowledge has become a launching point for making decisions at Kleberg Bank. … The data integrity is unmatched, and we estimate the software easily paid for itself within the first 12 months of implementation. … We believe SwiftKnowledge for Banking quickly will become an indispensable tool used by our bankers on a daily basis.” Leave a Comment
